As a photographer, Wray strives to capture the essence of a scene, the soul of a person, or the uniqueness of a moment. The photographs he creates are like windows to the world. As an avid outdoorsman, Wray has hiked, fished, camped, biked and skied in some of the most beautiful places in America. Whether camping under the stars in the Shenandoah National Park, backcountry skiing in the Wasatch Mountains predawn to watch the sun rise in the eastern sky, or fly fishing the Yellowstone river in Montana, the outdoors is his home, with his photographs reflecting this passion. The knowledge Wray has gained in photography is attributed to the professional photographers he has assisted for.
Although Wray grew up in Virginia, he currently calls Salt Lake City, Utah, home where he is pursuing a bachelors in business from the University of Utah. He uses his freetime to explore America west of the Mississippi, with his camera always at the ready.
